OPYO Survey: Community Feedback
Ozarks Philharmonic Youth Orchestras (OPYO) is using this time “off” to do some reflecting on its mission and the role we play in the Northwest Arkansas area music education. We would like to forge a closer relationship with our area teachers and would love to hear your input on what kind of program(s) would be beneficial to not only our area music students, but also might ultimately help boost the level of playing in school music programs.
Parents: We value your input as well! We want to hear from you about what you are looking for in an extra-curricular music program.
Teachers: Please note that is our policy that in order to join OPYO, students MUST be enrolled in their school band or orchestra program, so we are not in competition with those programs, but see ourselves as a program that offers opportunities for advancement for public school music students, as well as for homeschool students.
We would appreciate your feedback on the questions in this brief survey, as we look for the best way to serve music students in the NWA area. We also want to know if you’d like to be involved in some way in shaping the future of music education in the area with us!
